Why Doesn't God step in and Eliminate all our Suffering?

You have great power! But do you use it?
How do you know that you have great power? Well, are you baptized? If you are baptized, you an adopted son or daughter of God! This not only sounds good, but it is a great reality that we hardly live out. If only we had a prayer that spoke to that reality and helped us to live it out. And we do...

Visions of the Children of Fatima
The precious children of Fatima, Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco, have captured our hearts, as the brave trio who fought against all secular odds to keep a promise to Our Lady. Preterism's Limitations: We Need to Move on to the Spiritual Ages
The problem is, all positive stuff, sugar, and no horror. The Catholic preterist is great for the beautiful elements of Apocalypse: the Lamb, the Banquet, the Heavenly Jerusalem, the Holy, Holy, Holy, the 144,000, the great multitude, the incense, the saints, the 24 elders....

Believing the right things about Jesus isn't enough. You're not adopted as God's child until you confess and turn away from your wrongdoing and receive the freely offered gift of forgiveness and eternal life that Jesus purchased with his death on the cross. Until you do that, you'll always be on the outside looking in.
Reflect upon these words of Jesus today. Say them over and over. “I will not reject anyone who comes to me.”...
